Sembler was US Ambassador to Italy when the Niger forged docs went down, as well as the Sgrena shooting and the snatch and grab of that cleric....now supports Lieberman...and is fundraiser for Libby defense fund.

It will be interesting to see how Lieberman does as an independent. Last poll I saw had him ahead of the Democrat guy who beat him in the primary.

There's something very weird and sad about a party who disowns such a loyal party member as Lieberman, for the crime of... having a consistent position on Iraq?

Democrats are going to have to do a long examination of themselves in the mirror after the November elections. And it's not as winners. Such people are not winners in anything.
