I lurk on a Star Wars board called Rebelscum . . . it is mostly a forum for SW collectors. Anyhoo, my favorite spot is in the Vintage Ebay: Watch Out! section, which is where scams and/or questionable Ebay auctions are posted for the public benefit.

This thread is a mess. Full of hatred and buffoonery! I am unable to articulate exactly what is going on in this thread, but it has to do with making customized figures that look like old 70's foreign SW figure knock-offs. I also suggest you read the threads that are linked therein.

If you follow the link in the first post, you'll get a similar thread where the guy who is getting attacked accuses another guy of shoving his invalid wife at a recent SW convention . . . . but don't take my word for it!

That stuff goes on at the diecast collector site I lurk at too. How to make old hotwheels look like new. I always get a laugh because I can tell from the pics that the car was redone.
