Trolling At Work

Gonad

DON'T FUCK WITH MY TITLE BITCH
It is very fun; but takes so much more finesse to eliminate any direct consequences to oneself. I trolled at work today, it wasted over an hour of other peoples' time.

(is that people's or peoples')

I wasted my boss' entire day today, due to the foreign concept of "the network" and how the payroll files saved on "the network" can be accessed by any computer. And how it was somehow IT's fault. And how the updated software can be used more efficiently; with examples (unbelievable!) and which kitty litter is the best value overall. And then I managed to get my boss on an hour and a half tangent on the IRS, the legal system, politicians, and archaic horse-wrangling laws. And she got all worked up over *every* *subject* *listed.* You should have heard her yell at the IT guy about how she didn't know that saving payroll files on the network meant that they were accessible on the network.

I noticed the payroll files were accessible back in January, but I don't have the permissions to make them permission-only files.

I'm terrible at telling stories like this. You'd really have to be there to enjoy it.

That's funny. I think your boss likes to waste time too. So she was probably glad you were talking about everything under the sun. Only she didn't know you were trolling her. Please post more of this stuff.

(I'm always on the look out for creative forms of trolling)

Well, I didn't say more than 20 words to her the whole day. She would manage to go off on her own tangents with the tiniest bit of prodding. I just had to stand there, nod, and smile knowingly.
