Tisiphone
Elitist Redheaded Trollop
Oooohhh...TWO MORE LEFT. OH NOES
Sookie's initial reaction to finding out Sam's secret changes quickly when she realizes that someone she considered a friend has kept such a secret from her. Sam responds by saying that Sookie has a secret as well, but Sookie tells him that she's never hid what she was from anyone.
Needless to say, she's not upset that he's a shapeshifter, but that he didn't trust her enough (supposedly the woman he's loved) to tell her.
Tara goes to the voodoo woman and drinks some snake juice and kills her demon. Come to find out, the woman actually works in a pharmacy and Tara is upset because she really believed she'd been helped.
Annie finds out that Jason has been sneaking blood to Eddie, and decides that the way to keep Jason is to treat Eddie as a pet. But at the end of the episode, after Lafayette has confronted Jason, Jason goes back home to set Eddie free, only to have Annie stake him. Awwwww....poor gay vampire.
Meanwhile, at Arlene & Rene's engagement party, Sookie goes into the bar to get some ice and she gets attacked by the killer. She knows he's there because she suddenly has a vision of a strange woman being strangled. She manages to escape, but it was close.
Sam has flashbacks about his own life, and we learn just a little about where he came from.
It's not until about 30 minutes in that we see the tribunal. The magistar is a harsh taskmaster, and can't believe Bill killed a higher level being for his pet. Bill urges Eric to tell the magistrar that Sookie is more than a pet, and even Eric says that she has "value."
In the end, though, Bill's punishment is a life for a life. He must turn a young, innocent woman to make up for Longshadow's death if he wants to go back to Sookie.
AND HE DOES IT...but not without some major emotional distress.
Next week...SOOKIE RESCINDS BILL'S INVITATION AND SHE'S CAUGHT MAKING OUT ON THE COUCH WITH SAM.
For those who've read the book, I believe that Michelle Forbes is playing the woman who helps Sam and Sookie when Eric loses his memory. She's not a witch, but a nature dweller, I think. We see her when an extremely drunken Tara nearly hits her while she's driving. Curiousa, you know who I'm talking about??? I can't remember her damned name.
