The writing (especially the plotting) was C-level and the direction was hazy (Stephen Moyer directed).

Sookie made a Jeff Winger speech at the end. OMG.

Oh and Tara's dead in the first two minutes. We don't see it happen, we just have to take her mom's word for it. I wonder if she's actually dead.
 
I missed the first 30 minutes, but then watched the first 30 minutes after I watched the last 30 minutes, it was confusing! lol
 
Yeah surely Tara isn't dead. I mean why kill her offscreen and have almost no one care? Then again what possible reason would she have for faking her death in that situation?

I don't get why EVERYONE is CONSTANTLY thinking "it's Sookie's fault that vampires exist!" Like, shouldn't they be more angry at Bill who was the literal Vampire Satan last season?

Why didn't Fairy Girl just go up to the attic.

I guess they trace it back to season 1, when Bill first came to town and Sookie took up with him. EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING THE VAMPIRE AUTHORITY, RUSSELL EDGINTON, THE EVIL HEADLESS GOVERNOR OF LOUSIANA, THE SUPES WARS, AND ERIC'S KING DAD GETTING KILLED WHILE HE WAS FUCKING SOME WENCH IN THE 1300s is all Sookie's doing.
 
So no vampire had ever come to town before then? Even though there's vampires EVERYWHERE throughout the course of the show? Also as a cliffhanger to the episode it was really poor.
 
I don't think Bill was the first vamp in Bon Temps, but Sookie was the first local girl to take up publicly with a vamp?

I'm not defending all the plotholes, just trying to remember all the way back that far. I don't have this show saved on media like I do others.
