True Blood 702 - "I Found You"

Eggs Mayonnaise

All In With The Nuts
HOLY HOT SHIT the show is acting out fanfic requests in their intros -- first they kill Tara, now a dream love scene with Jason & Eric. WOO HOO!

Rutina Wesley is still in the main credits. Tara's not done on this show, dead or alive.

LOL ONLY 10 MINUTES IN, MORE LATER.

Tara appeared in her mom's V-induced hallucination -- oh well. Maybe she will be in one every week.

The show is still in decline, but I liked this ep more than last week's. Some obvious but still necessary commentary on Katrina and FEMA, and on the NRA gun nuts and the Tea Party anarchists. They remembered the show takes place in Louisiana.

Didn't like how a random set of characters suddenly become the deputized Scooby Gang, with Sookie at the top. Typical late-season show laziness. The core characters become everything -- mayor, detectives, hostage negotiators, forensics experts -- just because it's cheaper than writing new characters and hiring more actors.

Hoyt's mom is still funny in a predictable way. Something's wrong with Jessica. And I guess Eric has Hep V? Bummer.

They really tried to be The Walking Dead in the scene with the abandoned town and all the messages written on walls, but it just made me appreciate TWD more because they do those types of scenes so much better. And of course it makes no sense: why wouldn't people just stay in their houses and not invite vampires in?

So the scene where they steal the guns from the police station...no one has a gun? Wouldn't all the crazy rednecks already own one? Then they start shooting things indoors and no one gets accidentally shot? It was so dumb.

Jason fell asleep in church even after Sookie's big speech last week?

AND I HAVE TO KEEP WATCHING.
