True Blood 7x08 'Almost Home'

This was bad.

The Tara storyline, for example. This was so shit. The only point of it was to say "ACTUALLY Tara's mom isn't a terrible mother at all and you should liike her now because the previously unseen father was the real villain!" After seven seasons of her being a horrible drunken bitch. If there had been hints of the abusive father and Tara's dark secret throughout the series then maybe it could have worked. But just dumping it in here was bad.

Why did Hoyt show up at the sex mansion? I probably wasn't paying enough attention so maybe it did make sense. But yeah how lucky that he killed the vampire who killed his mother without knowing who she was. I guess we're supposed to want Hoyt and Jessica back together? Didn't he turn into a horrible goth the last time they went out?

I guess Willa's just gone now.

Bill doesn't drink the blood because...the final two episodes are going to be Sookie convincing Bill that he's a good man?

I hated it.

They refuse to let us be right about Bill - HE WILL BE A HERO AND WORTHY OF SOOKIE'S LOVE NO MATTER HOW BADLY WE CAST THE ROLE AND HOW MANY SHITTY WAYS WE SCREWED UP THEIR LOVE STORY OVER THE YEARS. WE SUCK BALLZ, BUT THE FANS ARE OBVIOUSLY WRONG SO THERE!

It's getting painful as the show winds down...but not in the right way.
