I just wonder if the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2 was actually better than the original theatrical release.

The Donner Cut is essentially an unfinished movie.

The Lois shooting Clark screen test fits in reasonably well, that annoying British-accent kid is cut completely (but you do get to see the cut scene where he is killed in one of the documentaries), Zod & company are much deadlier in the White House, it is cut so Lois and Supes have sex *before* he gives up his powers, the "General Zod, would you care to step outside?" line is GONE... there were a few other things too.

Brandon Routh is WAY more buff/fit than I'd realized. He's now past hot, into so unbelievably unattainable I am no longer attracted to him.

And the suit was STILL padded, but you wouldn't believe it after seeing him in these documentaries.

Thoughts?

Mole-Men was pretty good, but the suspension of disbelief involved in thinking they had the bodies of moles was a bit much. George Reeves was quite handsome, but his chest is a little over-broad. I'm wondering if I'll prefer Phyllis Coates to Noelle Neill.

Ilya Salkind is insane. We had a debate over whether or not the movie was actually playing in the room he was doing the commentary in.
