Vote Obama

Rezko cash triple what Obama says

During his 12 years in politics, Sen. Barack Obama has received nearly three times more campaign cash from indicted businessman Tony Rezko and his associates than he has publicly acknowledged, the Chicago Sun-Times has found.
If you are a fan of dirty campaign financing, vote Obama.

Obama would consider missile strikes on Iran
U.S. Senate candidate Barack Obama suggested Friday that the United States one day might have to launch surgical missile strikes into Iran and Pakistan to keep extremists from getting control of nuclear bombs.

Except in the case of Iran, they are building nuclear power stations. Nobody has found any evidence that Iran is doing anything but building power stations. And under the terms of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, Iran has a legal right, recognized by the United States, to build nuclear power stations.

So why is Obama ready to bomb Iran? Because that is what Israel wants. If you are a fan of the Neocon crusade in the Middle East, vote Obama.

Let's have an editorial:

The Foreign Policy of Barack Obama

Barack Obama provides no alternative to Hillary Clinton, in terms of imperial-minded foreign policy. This is doubly regrettable since Clinton herself provides no substantive alternative to the neoconservative philosophy of the Bush administration.

An oldie but a goody:

Clinton and Obama Raiding Donors Who Backed Bush
As senators Clinton and Obama crisscross the country seeking the Democratic presidential nomination and sharply criticizing President Bush, they have been collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars from donors who funded one or both of Mr. Bush's campaigns for the White House.

In the first quarter of this year, more than 150 former Bush donors pitched in for Mrs. Clinton's campaign, while a similar number anted up for Mr. Obama, according to an analysis of Federal Election Commission data performed for The New York Sun by the Washington-based Center for Responsive Politics.
For those who really think that there is any fundamental difference between democrats and republicans in this country, my advice is this: follow the money.

If those same organizations and individuals who backed Bush are simply acquiring a different set of political pets for this next election, what that means is there will be no fundamental change in the way the government of this country does business: it's all bought and paid for by the same interests, period, end of discussion.

Vote for him because he's black and a smooth politician. Let's not pretend he's unique in any other way.

Anyone planning on voting for Obama, if they are at least open to the possibility of better candidates and have a decent net connection, should take advantage of the Internet to find out about them.

The idea of Iran doing anything for a peaceful reason hasn't struck anyone funny yet?

We'll forget their vow to wipe out all things Jewish. The decade plus fighting with Iraq. You don't build centrifuges for peaceful production, no matter what anyone tells you.

Are you referring to a specific type, or is there no possibility of any centrifuge being used with peaceful intentions?

That's not entirely accurate. What the Iranian President actually said is, "The regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time," or a narrow relative thereof, something analogous to the collapse of the USSR.

But let's say I'm wrong, and he really did say that. The average Soviet citizen wasn't blamed for the crimes of his government, so why should the Iranians be?

An attack on Iran would be catastrophic for a number of reasons. Russia and China have good ties with them. Iran would have widespread support among any anti-American faction, good or bad, throughout the Middle East, and Obama doesn't seem to understand these things.
