Well he did go through a slight emo phase.. but he's not so bad these days.
I thought last nights ep was good.. didn't even have one shot of Desmond though!! The others are more mysterious now, if that is even possible. Jack's tattoo, where he got it, and what it means was explained.
Not the greatest episode, but certainly not the worst.

so he's not as emo as usual this ep? I don't hate Jack at all - au contraire with his yummy hairy chest - it's just all that eye-popping rage in the story line has worn thin, IMHO.

the work done in Thailand were not ALL the tats he (Jack) had..just the Chinese writing....or am I wrong?

Thought Jack was way out of line..FORCING her to give him a tattoo when it's against her culture???
...I hope this eyes-rolling -in-back-of -his head story line with Jack isnt going to go on. A leader has more balance than reacting emotionally ALL the time to everything..he cant even chill out in Thailand! Why was it suddenly so freaking important she tattoo him?
And for a surgeon to be so unable to curb his anger all the time is pretty unlikely...IMO.

I agree.. They're not writing Jack very well if they want us to believe he's a leader. He comes up with some good ideas to save himself though. I didn't get the whole tattoo me now thing either. It was kinda satisfying to see him get his ass kicked for it.

Pretty dull episode, IMO. We didn't find out anything important. As Tomtrak said, they had all these titillating mysteries to expand on and they chose Jack's fucking tattoo. And I didn't get why he wanted it so much either.
The last few seconds at the end were nice tho.
