Wait, what's up with Dollhouse?

Big Dick McGee

If you don't know, now ya know
I read that the show was cancelled, but this morning Entertainment Weekly's website shows that Rick Fox will be a guest star on an upcoming episode. Are they just burning off episodes, or will they be finishing out the season with new eps through the year? I stopped watching because I thought the cancellation was immediate.

It's cancelled but they're airing all of the remaining season 2 episodes. There's three left.

Oh, no point watching then. It was pretty crap anyway.

It's been really good these last few episodes.

I watched it for the first time the other day (too lazy to find the remote and turn it) and was completely lost. Something about people being plugged into a matrix-style thing in the attic, and the good guys were the bad guys were the good guys, then there was a bit about being in a warzone that was all a dream. WTF:suspicious: So that was it for me...

It was probably not the best idea to start near the end of the second season.

Probably right. Even still I got a strong feeling that stuff was just being all mashed together there. There didn't seem to be any cohesive plot holding the episode together...

Well it's already cancelled so they're not going to attempt to appeal to new viewers now. The Attic episode did make sense to me (I've been watching from the start)...it did have a LOT in it though.

It really does feel like they're trying to cram Whedon's entire gameplan for the series in about 7-8 episodes, but it is now certifiably balls to the wall awesome. I think I've forgiven Joss for the first five episodes now, and can actually tolerate having Eliza Dushku on my screen. It's that good!

(I still wish Agent Helo stayed braindead forever, though).

That was the feeling I got with the episode I saw. Like LOST does when the season is wrapping up and they have too many loose ends still...

Can somebody tell me why the hell did Whedon agree to another FOX show? Did he get retarded finally?
