Well I didn't have the privilage of listening to Howard way back when, so I am more of a new fan. I would prefer some locals here as well, but they've all been taken away and I was left with listening to NPR-or one choice of a morning show-so I got Sirius-and am totally pleased with it. I now enjoy my commuting time much more.Big Dick McGee said:Ugh. Maybe I outgrew him, I dunno. I liked him fine when I was in high school, even in college. I liked the guests, and especially his bits.
Slowly, as he got bigger and bigger, with more A-list guests, he got more smug, and arrogant. The bits stopped. The talk was always about sex or boobs or shaving. It got old. Then he got divorced, got a HUGE paycheck, and starting living the true celebrity life, complete with a Hamptons mansion and invites to P. Diddy's parties.
He became unrelatable and boring. I much prefer the two local guys here in Philly. I either listen to them or to the local sports talk station.
