Was 1998 the last good Christmas?

No, Christmas 1997 was the last good Christmas, then I finished college and it went downhill from there.
 
I literally got Ocarina of Time at Christmas that year.


Man, getting games at *christmas* instead of on the release date is such a foreign concept to me now!

Well I guess Gaben's steam sales... but it's not the same.
 
If this is the criteria, then 1976 was the last good Christmas for me:

I didn't get Ocarina of Time until years later. So maybe that was the last good year, probably 2004.
 
I remember playing it on Christmas all the way to the egg hatching and thinking it was awesome that the egg hatched.
