You don't have to say you're a troll or you're trolling. Your actions do your talking-- mainly, posting these inane and irrelevant questions in this forum in an attempt to annoy the admins and to smaller extent, spam the forum. You've a specific target in mind-- this happens to be your approach at trolling.

All in all, it doesn't bother me. It simply places you on the 'idiot list', and idiots are the easier people to troll. Ah, but you're not an idiot, I imagine you'll claim. Yes, you are. I have a good feel who's an idiot and who's not. It's part of being a cashier.

I got a head ache after trying to read two lines of that fucked up site. Who designed that piece of shit monstrosity? White on blue? Just trying to read that shit is a troll on the eyeballs!

Then I saw the post was 4 years old. Then I realized I didn't give a fuck and skinofevil or Major fucking Mcgrew or whatever still sucks.

If this Skin dude wants to look me up and have a go, Gurk is easy to find.
 
It's a shame, because it was a good piece of comedic work. Being a troll isn't all about being as vulgar as possible, you know. Skin appreciated good subterfuge and about making people being attracted to what he posted, whether they liked it or not.

If you start posting about motherfucking leftist dick-sucking pieces of shit, then people can easily identify you as a troll. His was a different approach.

As for the 'having a go,' I'm pretty sure he'd care more about trolling idiots and soccer moms over the net than trying to go cannibal on a fellow troll.

I agree that trolling pretentious jagoffs and idiots IS much more fun than cannabalizing fellow trolls - it's also much easier. I knew a fellow who I knew as BlueElvis way back on the old Lycos boards who had a similar style. He specialized in creating new and compelling personas and starting outrageous threads that got ridiculous traffic. He still hangs out on Delphi, but his schtick has never evolved.

I understand this persona most likely has had a great impression on your own troll persona development. He ain't no hero of mine so don't expect me to sing the praises of a ghost who's long gone from these environs.

I have read some of that old crap still stored here like dusty old books in a library basement - and like Atlas said, I ain't all that impressed. I pulled that kind of shit on usnet lists 10 years ago. None of it is relevant anymore.

Not QUITE... I wouldn't call my style a persona because it depends completely from the situation.

Don't expect much from the shit buried here. But bear in mind that Skin trolled a board, back in the day, with thousands of viewers, all clamoring to praise or slam what he wrote.

I'll try to replicate that thread here sometime. It is an eyesore, but full of laughs.
