Watch what you click on on facebook

I saw one of my friends had recently watched a video called "amazingly hot strip dance", and clicked on it, thinking it would either be a joke, or a genuine strip, which it did turn out to be.

What I didn't expect was that just by watching the thing it would add it to my timeline.

Just clicking on the thing automatically counted as a "like".

Lucky I spotted it straight away and managed to delete it, then fired off a message to my friend so he could delete his too.

Sneaky bastards!

I think those things do a service. It's hilarious seeing supposedly straightlaced friends try to explain away why they'd be looking at strip shows and whatnot, especially the bible bashers who act like they're morally superior to anyone with a sex drive.

Somehow I've managed to go this long without converting to the Timeline. I hope it lasts indefinitely, but I'm probably jinxing it now by bringing it up, lol.

I've managed to avoid the timeline too. I don't want a giant banner image. I'm a person, not a website. And I like having all my activities in one left aligned column, not in stupid odd shaped boxes that hop either side of a line in the middle, interspersed by the occasional single line of text.

I'm not accepting BDM's friendship request until he starts posting in the Mine Field again. (Or I never check friendship requests because I'm only on Facebook to watch BB videos this summer take your pick!)
