Watched a new episode of the Simpsons.

I find it really hard to watch now. I just keep thinking over-and-over whilst watching it that the show should be so dead now. Why is it still running? The episode I watched wasn't abysmal or anything; nothing special but not bad either. But the Simpsons as a show has been on for so long, and the characters are so iconic that it just seems really odd watching it these days. Its been on for something like 18+ years. Make the damn movie and FUCKING END IT.
 
I'm working on the Movie right now. it's sad that they have got down to dealing with my level of marketing scrote bag
 
Yeah, it's pretty shit now. Except every now and again they have a good episode and you think "okay I'll keep watching" but then there's three shit ones about Homer becoming a wrestler/dentist/arse-rapist then ANOTHER FUCKING HALLOWEEN SPECIAL and you stab yourself in the testicles in rage.
 
BUT THE HALLOWEEN EPS ARE THE BESTEEST!!!

C'mon, Eric Idle doin' a documentary on Springfielders? It was pretty cool! Except for the formulaic everything with all of the same old characters and all of the same old situations AND GODDAMN YOU'RE RIGHT ITS FOR SHITE.

Still, the movie looks brilliant from the small snippets we've seen so far.

headvoid, do they tell you anything insightful about the plot? I mean, that'd help in marketing, right? :p
 
Not yet, I could give you a very dull PowerPoint presentation. When I get anything juicy I will let people know.

The powerPoint presentation just tells you what marketing they want to do - it's fairly dull. Remember I'm somewhere just above an amoeba on the marketing food chain.
 
That's not fairly dull. Put yourself in the mind of a Simpsons movie marketer, Wacky.

The Maggies will be African orphans to reduce costs. This will tie in to Madonna's frivolous and badly acted cameo.
