Wow, I loved it. I am a massive fan of the original Bewitched Tv show, used to watch it on Channel 4 every morning. The movie version actually puts a different spin on it as so far as the plot revolves about bringing the TV show back on the air and fully acknowledges the original TV show as just that. A TV show. So offically it's not really set in the Bewitched verse. Nicole Kidman is the witch of course who ends up auditioning for the role of Samantha in the "new" Bewitched TV show. Will Ferell is the big arrogant movie star who's last movie tanked and is forced into doing TV. He plays Darren on the show and gets them to cast Nicole Kidman's character when he sees her in a supermarket doing the famous nose twitch. He want's an unknown and the show to be all about him basically.
Will Ferell is hilarious the entire way through and Nicole Kidman is just cute as the cutest button you ever did see.
Yes, it is at it's core a romantic comedy but it's a lot of fun, I will probably be burning this as it happens.
