Anyway, it was okay. Not as bad as someone said. Very true to the book. Susan was hot.
 
You mean it was actually good? Wow. Who you go with?

I want to see it now. Who played the White Witch? Was Aslan CGI?
 
I didn't REALLY go to the cinema. Which means there's no way I could possibily have seen it, of course.

It wasn't GOOD as a movie, wasn't bad either, I've always liked Narnia and it was accurate to the books and none of the acting was too bad (well, Lucy was a bit annoying the bitch), Tilda Swanton (sp?) was the witch, she was okay, Aslan was CGI and voiced by Liam Neeson and he looked pretty good.
 
Sounds cool. But you did go to the cinema because you did see it *confused*

Tilda Swanson was hot though, I hope. the White Witch is supposed to be hot. Like The Head Witch from The Witches (Roahl Dahl) is hot (with her mask OBVIOUSLY)

Narnia is also one of my favourite books ever. I want to read some stuff from the other member of the Borovian Tea Club Society (or whatever it was called.) C.S Lewis, Tolkien and some one else.. Maybe the other guy wrote some good but not AS good stuff, I must find out.
 
Well, in theory they could make DVD copies of movies for Academy Awards screenings...and someone could get a copy of one of these DVDs and somehow I could end up seeing one...but that couldn't have happened.

I didn't find Tilda all that hot. I guess I can understand Edmund getting hard when she was snuggling up to him and feeding him Turkish delight, though. I heard ages ago that Nicole Kidman would be the white witch BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT.

Ahh, you had an Acadmey Award DVD. I've had a few in my time. It has a funny message at the start saying stuff like "THIS DVD IS ONLY FOR ACADEMY AWARD JUDGES BLAH BLAH" Which always makes me laugh since I'm not a judge! *shock*
 
There was a logo on the screen but it was transparent and I didn't notice it most of the time. Oh, and come to think of it, the movie felt kind of rushed even though it was over two hours. And the direction was pedestrian. OMG, I COULD BE A CRITIC!
 
I view movies through a Directors lens. It's annoying sometimes. Obviously I'm not a Director and It may be arrogant of me but I find a lot of fault by not finding it easy to be swept into a state of disbelief.
 
I did like hearing long forgotton lines that had amused me as a child ("Even some of the trees are on her side!) again.
