Watched Tim Burton's Corpse Bride

I want to smell dark matter
I remember this getting bad reviews. I can kind of understand why. Animation was good and everything, voice acting was great BUT...songs were a mixed bag (one great, the rest meh), it was too short even for an animated feature (IMMHO!) I didn't really buy either of the romances in the movie...it was a decent watch but could have been a lot better.

THERE, HWO's WHAT FOR A REVEIWsfdl

I preferred Lisa Marie to Helana Bonham.

Corpse Bride was OK.

Tim Burton's films always look nice but are a bit weak in story or characterisation. It's like when I was little and I used to write crappy stories as an excuse to draw pictures. Maybe Tim should just be one of those wacky photographers who takes really twisted pics of snowdrops with naked women trapped in them, etc.

I WILL NOW REVIEW EVERY TIM BURTON MOVIE (THAT I'VE SEE) TO SEE IF YOU'RE RIGHT.

Beetle Juice: Highly enjoyable. No glaring story problems that I remember.
Batman: It was good at the time, now looks like a pile of piss compared to Batman Begins.
Edward Scissorhands: Lovely fairytale.
Batman Returns: I like it well enough, it's a bit stupid but watchable.
Mars Attacks!: This one does suck, despite a Natalie cameo.
Sleepy Hollow: Liked it, looks great, plot got a bit messy in the end but Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci's tits were great.
Planet Of The Apes: Utter shite.
Big Fish: I like it. DID ALL THAT STUFF REALLY HAPPEN WHO KNOWS.
Charlie And The Choclate Factory: Delightful, far better than the Gene Wilder one.
Corpse Bride: See above.

WELL I THINK HE'S DONE MORE GOOD THAN BAD IF YOU LOOK AT THAT LIST.

I didn't know he did Mars Attacks! I love that movie. Especially the bit at the end where all the animals gather round Tom Jones as he sings.

I didn't like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory though. I think that and Sleepy Hollow are good examples of Tim Burton's films looking snazzy, but lacking in most other ways.

How could you forget Nightmare before Christmas?!

I didn't, I was only mini-reviewing ones I've seen. I've only seen bits of Nightmare but from what I've seen it's good.

Mars Attacks I might have been too harsh on, I was probably depressed about something insignificant the day I saw it.

Choclate Factory doesn't need a plot. It's got squirrels.
