Weekly flash animation showcase

Although not an active participant I do keep an eye on the flash community and watch flash cartoons like they’re old school early morning cartoons. So why not post some of the good ones here for fun once a week?

First up is an old favorite of mine Cows with guns.

The Cows with guns flash video is based on the song written Dana Lyons. The song semi released in 1996 enjoyed a surprising amount of success including being #1 For The Year on Dr. Demento, #2 on Australian Country Charts, 10 months on Seattle’s Top 40, and 6 months on Ireland’s Top 40.

The flash video was released possibly in 2003 by Bjørn-Magne Stuestøl, a Norwegian teacher. The video quickly gained popularity and became an Internet phenomenon being featured on dozens of websites. It’s fun, cute animation style matches the tone of the music, and you gotta admit those are some cool looking cows.

I first saw "Cows With Guns" when an English friend posted it on another board. I loved it, and still do. Probably one of the best I've ever seen.

I love flash animation. Too bad you were so boring I never even noticed this thread in the forum until you made your dramatic exit.
