Weekly Wipe

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
It starts tonight at 10 on BBC2, I just remembered. I wonder if it'll be five episodes and a clip show again? Something to complain about five weeks today!

It was good! I liked the living LEGO Man and the "Finding Chemo" line. The Philomena Clunk bit at the end went on a bit long maybe.

I caught the last few minutes of last nights, I tried to put it on series link, but sky wouldn't let me, so took that as a sign.

I never find Limmy that funny. He was alright last night but it felt like a bit of time wasting a la Tim Key's dumb poems they used to have.

I LOVED the Philomena Clunk stuff tho. "Dolphins live downstairs" and her Brian Cox stuff made me literally laugh my head off!

I'm watching it right now. The dolphin stuff was hilarious, and I like the way Philomena talks.

I'm still laughing at David Cameron's greasy chin.

I've really started to like Philomena and Barry. The Dolphin stuff was excellent, but for Philomena to hold the one joke (i.e. how Dr Brian Cox speaks) for that length of time shows she can act.

It's pretty amazing that they found a simple person who can also act! I wonder if she even knows what's going on!

It will always be the Greenwich Marillion Line for me now, named after the band Marillion, who were named after THAT line.

So much of television recently reminds me of extended versions of George Orwells "2 minutes of Hate"

Philomena Cunk's Moment of Wonder didn't seem as funny last night, but it might just be that it's based around only three of four jokes (bad grammar, circular logic, general idiocy, looks), so it's less amusing on repetition (though I have seen last week' some 5 times now and still find it hilarious).

Limmy's the kind of weirdo I always find myself sat next to on a bus.

Doug Stanhope made some good points but really I'd like to hear more from Charlie.

Last week's worked as a parody of Brian Cox, but I'm not sure what she was parodying this week or how the police fit with the "moments of wonder" theme. It was sitll funny...
