Well I've been banned from Wordforge

After three years of posting and not a single warning I've been banned from Wordforge.

Looks like the Browncoats have been wanting to ditch Para ever since he predicted the fall of Serenity and won Chewy's account.

Today Para started a thread about legally downloading episodes (you know from the link even Trekbbs pimps around).

Well I guess they made some rule about not discussing illegal downloads. The rules over there change faster than a TBonz mood swing. But whatever, I don't see what that has to do with my thread.

So I started a thread in their QS&F asking why my thread was closed. In one instance my QS&F thread was closed because I was "discussing illegal activities" (WTF?) and was warned with a 'friendly' via PM for this...

Well anyway, I then started a thread explaining that I was not discussing illegal activity and another thread contesting my warning. Two very different subjects.

I was then banned for spamming (again WTF?) and having a dual ?!? (SUPER WTF ?)

Yes my friends, Wordforge has indeed fallin' on hard times. I suspect Neroon has been put in charge. Now how can I prove it....

That thread reads like an ExIsle AQG thread with a few swears.
 
I dare someone to start a thread inquiring as to how one can get on the "privileged members only" board torrent site they have going there.

They have one. Hypocrites.
 
Hmm...you may be right. I was working off months old information. I might need to be updated on that one.

Unless we're talking about two different things. There's the torrent site, then there's a torrent that was set up months ago by Nick and Borgs. They started a thread about it. A thread. About illegal torrent activity. Started by the board's (then) owner.

Damn GTC's become an apologist for the fuckups of another board. This board is falling to pieces too.

Actually I was told I was banned for 24 hours while they "review" my membership status. We'll see if I get unbanned or not.

But an unjust ban is still an unjust ban, regardless of the time limit - - especially when they keep threatening you with a permaban yet can find no reason to even warn you.

I JUST found out about that. I think its offline now. Anyone got a link? I think I'm being punished because those dumbasses fucked up and got their ass handed to them by their server or something.

I was just pointing out that this is not a permanent ban, something you had not mentioned in your starting post.

Perhaps you missed the part where I called the banning bullshit?
 
Para, you called a staff person an idiot. You are not allowed to disrespect the staff there in any way. They are the privalged ones.

The staff is , however, allowed to call you a TK retard or make not-really-too-funny cracks about your personal life at any time with out fear of reprisal.

I want a link. Is it something different than the program listed above? I promise to alert you to any viruses I upload, just don't tell the browncoats.
 
I have a message board. Whilst the board was down yesturday I placed a link to it advertising it as a bittorrent and downloading board where I made a wordforge is exile forum.

Unfortunately the hosts saw this message on wordforge's front page when trying to fix it, paniced and demanded a crack down on such topics of discussion.

Unfortunately this has the potential to work just as well as the 'no calling people pedophiles' rule, e.g. the more you draw attention to it, the more it actually happens in some cases.
