U.N. 'Climate Change' Plan Would Likely Shift Trillions to Form New World Economy

A United Nations document on "climate change" that will be distributed to a major environmental conclave next week envisions a huge reordering of the world economy, likely involving trillions of dollars in wealth transfer, millions of job losses and gains, new taxes, industrial relocations, new tariffs and subsidies, and complicated payments for greenhouse gas abatement schemes and carbon taxes — all under the supervision of the world body. ...

So the people who failed to resolve Yugoslavia; the people who continue to fail in Sudan; the people who, through corrupt under-the-table dealing, kept Saddam in power; and whose "peacekeepers" are best known for having sex with children--these are the people who are going to get the reins for the world economy!?

The people who brought us the complete and utter failure that was Kyoto are going to go to the next level in "fixing" "climate change"--something that there is tenuous evidence, at best, that we even have any effect on.

Please tell me that our elected officials in Washington aren't so naive that they go along with this.

They're democrats and severe leftists. They'll be the first in line. Just look at what they're doing with OUR economy. What makes you think that they're any less egotistical and self-important as tonot involve themselves in the world economy. Besides, the Dems have always been pro-UN.
