Westworld, HBO, Johnathan Nolan & Bad Robot

Yul Brynner was a god among men.

Everything looks like a job for Tom Hardy in your mind though Egg.

Cleaning my kitchen floor? THATS A JOB FOR TOM HARDY
Advertising industrial lubricants? THATS A JOB FOR OUR TOM

Westworld was good as a film, but the remade it as a weekly show once before, and there is only so many times a Robot Cowboy can walk slowly behind some people running away, and still always catch up with them, before it gets old.

They could reimagine the robot cowboy as a killer robot driving instructor from the future who travels back in time for some reason (and his best friend is a talking pie.)

It would be sexier if the robot cowboy was a cyborg cowboy (part man/part machine) and have a hidden romantic tilt towards female lead as they team up to keep the other "bad" robots from stealing her from our cyborg cowboy. Each week he could become more aware as his new nanobots reconnect his emo center. We could see certain reawakening emotions flicker across his stoic countenance as he reacts. Hot stuff -- like "Castle" but with a cyborg lead.

I loved the movie as a child, haven't seen it as an adult but not sure it needs a remake. I mean, if they could adequately develop the world it's set in and add a bit more to the characters that'd be great, but too often these days remakes just mean bags of CGI and the barest lip service paid to the original enterprise. (IM NOT BITTER ABOUT ANYTHING SPECIFIC)

They probably will abandon the killer robot concept all together, and every week will be a debate about the rights and wrongs of shagging androids.

Every film should have Tom Hardy, a Talking Pie and Metal Feet. I am going to move to Hollywood and MAKE A FORTUNE

There should be a Jurrassic Park tv series but all the dinosaurs are dead and it's about Samuel L Jackson's character's arm coming to life on its own and the adventures it gets into.

Ummm, I think that was called "Robocop".
