I think the WF experiment may be drawing to a close. I opened a thread a couple of days ago in The Green Room along the lines of:

"I was so bored 10 minutes ago..."

"I posted at TrekBBS. I feel dirty, abused"

Or something like that. It has been moved into a recycle bin, or hidden forum where it cannot be opened without any explanation whatsoever.

Hello, Gagh. As a regular contributor to Wordforge myself, perhaps I can help clarify some things for you, my dear old friend. Your thread wasn't moved to a recycle bin. It was moved to the Gray Room (which is their version of our GFHH). You may access your thread here: http://www.wordforge.net/showthread.php?t=50292

You'll need to become a member of the usergroup Gray Brigade to access the Gray Room. Under User Control Panel, click on "Group Memberships" to request access to the Gray Room. Group requests are almost always automatic.

The sad thing is, I was enjoying myself there, and had every intention of staying & becoming a regular contributor.

I was enjoying your contributions as well, Gagh. Please don't let that little misunderstanding become a hindrance to your continued positive contribution to the Wordforge BBS.

After cutting through the usual huge ladlings of smarm in your post, GB, thanks for the info. No idea it existed, but I'm having a break from there. An explanation as to why it was moved would still have been nice. Not really a misunderstanding, is it, as apathy.


Oh look - It was my friend, Paladin who moved it, having spent most of his recent time following me around the board. He's almost as friendly as you, GB!

I guess it was assumed you would find it in the Gray Room so that might be why you didn't receive a PM explaining why it was moved. All threads concerning other BBS'es are automatically moved to the Gray Room. That's where we talk about TK and TBBS. Check it out, Gagh. There are lots of threads there you might enjoy reading and posting in.
