Old thread type but with the advent of services like eSnips more often than not you can link to the song. And if eSnips doesn't have it Youtube probably will unless it's really obscure.

So yeah, link to whatever you're listening to right now.

story of my life

Shoot.

I'll listen to everything posted in this thread to down out the sounds of "KILL YOURSELF" my mind is currently playing for me.

You want some good music to kill yourself to? yes! Great you’ve come to the right place, but these things have to be done in stages. Lets just go with my favourite scenario. The bathtub suicide! Right first you need a cd player within arms reach, as well as a stack of cds, which I am about to list. What you play off this list is your personal preference. Lets start with, say,Begins Here by A Butterfly Effect. This is brilliant because the depressive undertones are very subtle and full sadness hits you at the very last track. Right so now you're just looking for some bittersweet music to help you along. Try White Pony by deftones. The song digital bath is actually based on electrocution in a bathtub so if you can listen to this cd and still feel the need to kill yourself, your're in the right place. Its now time to cry and exorcise your personal demons before you take your life, listen to Vision Of Escaflowne: Lovers Only This music always reduces me to tears its so beautiful. Lets finish this off with Mer de Noms by A Perfect Circle. The songs are very soothing, but in a melancholy way, preparing for your 'deep sleep' as they say. If you’re the religious type, Play Das Testament. by E Nomine. Its germen techno with Gregorian choirs that chant passages from the bible. Now play The Singles 86>98. by Depeche Mode, purely because if you're going to die it's the last good thing to do. Right now we have come to the list of music to kill yourself to. Even though I have chosen a bathtub, there are still various ways of committing the final act once your're submerged. Here are the categories:

Death by razor

Razorblade Romance by H.I.M
Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Issues by Korn
Korn by Korn
Black Celebration by Depeche Mode(Try and make sure its raining outside first)

Death by electrocution

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence by Glassjaw
Sevas Tra (Dig) by Otep
The End of Evangelion
Death Before Musick by Amen(the punk band)
Follow The Leader by Korn

Death by overdose

Bittersweet by Apocalyptica featuring my two favourite guys from Finland, ville Valo & Lauri Ylonen
Mechanical Animals (Explicit Cover) by Marilyn Manson
Pretty Hate Machine by Nine inch nails
Love Metal by H.I.M
Absolution by Muse
Ultra by Depeche Mode
Babylon (+ Bonus DVD) by obk, brilliant spanish version of depeche mode, but better!

Picking the right funeral music

And now we have come to your funeral. The beautifull song 'closure' from Glow by Unjust is perfect. Nice and serene, it should get everybody crying. Choose something appropriate if you are getting cremated like 'Time to burn'from Dead Letters by the Rasmus. If you believe in re-incarnation, or just want to annoy people that cant wait to leave with a really long song then play 'Infinite Dreams' from Seventh Son of a Seventh Son by Iron Maiden. Personally I favour 'No ones there' from Untouchables by Korn . In fact anything on untouchables can be used. In fact if you want to save time just buy untouchables, it can be used in any category. Well I've come to the end. I hope you found my list helpfull. If you find that after all this music you still cant take your life then just hurt yourself as much as possible.

Bend It Like Beckham Indian pop music.
Revolutionary Girl Utena lifts my spirits everytime.

Well if you have made it this far without smashing your head into the screen, well done! Please note that all these cds can be enjoyed at any time and should not be viewed as tools of suicide alone. Thanks for taking the time to read my list before you die! I hope I have been of some assistance.

I wanted music to distract me from suicide, BUT THAT COULD WORK TOO...
