I voted other. I believe that the only tool that mankind needs in order to understand his place in the universe, or even to entertain the possibility of life after death is science. I think religion is mainly about controlling people through fear, -fear of death, fear of a vengeful God ETC.- But as a scientist at heart, i do have an open mind, which i think most people of faith don't.

Faith by its nature doesn't lend itself to open mindedness, but it's dangerous
to presume that being "open minded" is somehow preferable to having faith.
In the end it's irrelevant anyway. I have lots of family and friends who are
hardcore believers, and even more who are anything but. A lot of these
non-believers flaunt their alleged superior position of tolerance and open
mindedness, but are blind to their own prejudices of people with faith. They
claim to take the high road when there's no high road to take.

In the end the only thing that matters is whatever it is that gets you out of
bed and through the day without killing yourself or someone else. If you face
east three times a day, fine. If you do a line in the executive washroom, fine.
Whatever it takes.

I would personaly define open minded as not being "blind" to anything. (at least not intentionally) I think that it's basically a black and white thing. either you have an open mind or you don't

Yes, you are right, happiness is the most important thing in life. but i'd personally rather be happy and know the truth.
 
I try to have an open mind, but then I get wishy washy-- which does not make sense but I know what I mean.

Atheists are worse than die-hard fanatics. Well maybe not worse, but it's like they used to be beaten by priests, rabbis, or mullahs or something. Take Hambil for instance. He went to a Catholic school, correct? Have you ever seen anyone so rabidly anti-Christian in your life?

I don't care about religion because I've never seen it affect my life in any way, even when I was religious. That being said, God might exist. Or he might not. It's not that personal for me, and if religious people are to be slammed for their diatribes then so should atheists be slammed for their anti-religious animosity (They got trolled, that's for sure).

Agnosticism - Go fuck yourselves, leave me alone.
