Since we are on the subject, what does "Sorry" mean? I used to work with someone who would make a request and then say, "Please, thank you". As if we could resist saying no after hearing those words.
Its almost a control mechanism in a way. Or manipulation I think.
I work in an industry now where they rarely say those words and shit gets done. I kind of like it.
I think children need to learn to say those words.
