What exactly did DS do to get permabanned?

Basically, Shadowfire sent an e-mail threat via a proxy to Darthsikle. If it was a real threat or not, is still a matter up for debate.

When DS asked for the staff to do something, and then additional info on the Shadowfire account, they permbanned him under the "we will not accept threats to us" clause of the policy. Shadowfire was also permabanned.

Now, in an attempt to get Shadowfire back, this nikki person is saying that the person who sent the original threat (the proxy) basically "misinterpreted" the original "joke". Which, begs the question, was it one big troll to get DS permabanned when he responded as any one else would have (by demanding answers and info from the staff), and it exploded in their face?
 
DS was perma banned for far more than just insisting on ShadowFires personal information. The threat he made in his efforts to get said information was just the final straw.

and you can spin that how ever you like but that is the basic fact of the situation.

I am not spinning it, I am not out to 'get' DS, and the information is publicly available in numerous threads over at EI.

But I'm pretty sure I won't be believed.

Except that he still had several intermediate level warnings/bans that he still hadn't exhausted before you permabanned him. You used the "threats" excuse to circumnavigate those intermediate levels and just perma him straight off.

Of course, I've never trusted Raven, or whatever the fuck her name is. She had that "duplicitous bitch" aura about her.

What I am curious about is this: Even though it was up to certain Admins to say yea or nay to Darth's appeal, were those discussions held in the Mod Lounge, or were they held off site in secret discussions/private messages to one another, or were they held in the secret Admin Lounge where Mods and Watchdogs cannot gain access? I am an Admin on one board where the Admin Lounge was not visible nor accessible to me when I was a mere Mod so I know that does exist.

Were the Mods able to offer their two cents to the discussion, i.e., giving a word of support in favor of Darth's ban lifting? If you are a mod or an admin on EI, did you offer a cup of water to Darth in the desert or did you close ranks?

Questions, but no answers.
