What game are you playing on a Nintendo console at the moment?

Loved Undertale. I STILL have to get to DELTARUNE despite buying it ages ago. The curse of the backlog. I will have an indie title slot open soon so I'll probably add it to that.

You coud just wait for all 7 chapters to come out (I don't know when that will be.)

Genuinely disturbing.

I am playing Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2. As I have terdiously mentioned before, I've never actually played a mainline Pokémon game. And I still haven't: this is a spin-off game which people are describing as "Animal Crossing meets Pokémon"...even though I think "Minecraft meets Pokémon" would be more accurate (but I've never played Minecraft either!) I am still very early in the game but am enjoying it so far and impressed by the sheer amount of stuff in it. You basically have to create habitats to make Pokémon appear, then keep them happy and eventually build real houses and stuff. But everywhere you go there's something to do, and you'll keep running into cute new Pokémon who want you to do something for them and you just can't resist the little bastards. I'm finding it very satisfying making them happy and have already invited Squirtle to come and live with me in my house. I'm not sure if I'll terraform the whole world though, as that could take a very long time! But this is definitely a game someone could spend hundreds of hours on, and even if you just want to "catch 'em all" it feels like it's going to take a good amount of time. I like it.

This video popped up and I made the mistake of watching it...

So at first I got really annoyed by how bad she was at it. She doesn't seem to understand the most simple mechanics like "running and jumping" which I thought anyone could pick up. Can't you find manuals for games online and read them? I'd do that if I was going to do a video like this! Then I started thinking maybe I was being too harsh, because Super Mario Bros 3 IS a hard game if you're not getting the warp whistles. I remember dying a ton as a child (even though I feel like I picked up stuff way faster than she does here...but maybe that's my mind only remembering certain things.) But, she's played loads of retro games, if you look at her channel. She already played Super Mario World! She should understand Mario, a bit! The amount of times she sat there staring saying "what am I supposed to do!" when the answer is just "jump over the thing!" But then I couldn't stop watching the video just to see which silly way she'd die next. And she DOES get better towards the end (and World 8 is extremely hard so I'm not judging her dying a lot there.) Then a third idea sprang to mind. Is she dying in comical ways on purpose? Is "cute girl is bad at video game then gets better" a genre of YouTube video? It probably is with the perverts we have these days.

First rage baiting huh?
