What is wrong with people?

So, i'm talking to my sister-in-law right now. I guess around 7 this evening back in my hometown some guy went on a rampage....beating the shit out of people including my grandmother and my mom. I guess the guy started at one of the bars...beat the shit out of someone, walked down the street, and started beating the crap out of three people walking down the street. Now these three people, one is in her eighties, one is mentally handicapped, and the other is in his sixties. He beats up the last two, and then when he starts on the older lady my mother came out of the house and confronted him, then he went after her. Beat the hell out of my mother, then when my grandma came out he went after her and beat the shit out of her until a car stopped and then he just walked away. My mom showed me her cam, her whole face is swollen both eyes are black she looked terrible. And according to Kharissa, grandma got the brunt of it all. So all of the victims got loaded up into the ambulances and the cops got the guy on his way threw a near by town. And it should be noted that this guy was drunk off his ass and cracked out of his mind.

I can't even comprehend it all right now. I mean, what kind of human being does that? What kind of man beats the hell out of handicapped and the elderly, in their own front yard nonetheless! I mean....I just...shit....I can't even think up anything coherant at the moment.

I just.......why?

Dude was lucky that nobody else was around....cause that's what would have happened....that or the dogs would have gotten turned out on his ass.

Officials place a body in a van outside a home where police found three dead people and a baby girl Tuesday.

GARDEN GROVE, California (AP) -- A 1-year-old girl spent up to three days alone with the bloody bodies of her murdered family, her face kicked or beaten and lips cracked from dehydration, police said.

"She was left for dead," Lt. Mike Handfield said. "If she would have been here any longer, she could have perished from lack of food and water."

Police found the bodies of Phuong Hung Le, 30, his wife, Trish Dawn Lam, 25, and Lam's 6-year-old son, Tommy, on Monday when they conducted a welfare check at the family's home, on a street lined with two-story stucco houses about 35 miles (55 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles in Orange County.

The girl, whose name was not immediately available, was treated at a hospital for dehydration and facial injuries and placed in protective custody.

The girl smiled at the officer who found her, Handfield said. "She clung to him and he hugged her. She was glad to be next to a warm human body, to have somebody with her."

Police rule out murder-suicide
Because of the girl's dehydrated state, detectives believe the killings may have occurred Friday evening -- the last time the family was heard from.

Investigators did not know the motive for the attack, and no arrests had been made. Authorities did not say what type of weapon was used in the attack but ruled out a murder-suicide.

There were no signs of forced entry, and evidence at the scene suggested that the family knew the attacker or attackers, Handfield said.

Lam worked for a small casino in San Bernardino County, and Le was unemployed, police said.

The slain man had a history of arrests on nonviolent charges and had once spent time in prison, but police said they were not sure whether that had any bearing on the case. State prison records showed a Phong Hung Le, 30, was sentenced to four years on a robbery conviction and more than two years for destruction of jail property.

"I don't know about enemies, and I don't know how my brother-in-law was doing," said Lam's older brother, Philip. "He didn't really go out much."

The couple, who had been dating for several years, married in 2005, he said. His family emigrated from Vietnam a decade ago.

"I'm trying to figure this all out," Philip Lam said from the family home in Escondido. "So far there are a lot of broken hearts around here."

Sorry about your relatives man. I hope that they recover very soon. I am also glad that none of them died and that the assfuck that did it was quckly caught. This is a crazy world we all live in. Sadly things like that happen in my neck of the woods on a daily basis.

So the guy was 6'3 and 230 pounds, and my grandma is 5'3 and maybe 150. I guess my grandma did fight back...started throwing her garden frogs at him...and those fuckers are heavy.

I don't mean to make light and I hope your mom and grandma are much better and recover fully, but that line was like the funniest fuckin' thing I've read in weeks.

If they weighed around 80 pounds total, and stacked on each other were around a foot tall, would that be a fair fight?

B) It'd be ten times funnier. Shit, if my gramdma managed to dig her way out of her 20 year old grave and throw fucking garden frogs and some guy trying to kick her ass, I'd be rollin'!!

TK would be the last place I'd choose to share personal stories about my family, or any tough moments in life. Anything posted here is fair game to be shot down, so it's tough shit, if it isn't appreciated.
 
I agree, Gagh. It's just...if Mandi did choose to confide in us, I think the least we could do is show some respect. But that's just my opinion...
