I had the weirdest walk home the other day, everything suddenly seemed so meaningful, yet meaningless. It was like I could see the futility of the world and of people's lives. I passed a traffic warden and thought how pointless an accomplishment it is in life to tell people where they can and can't put their machines. And how odd those machines are. The infrastructure required for us to drive cars is immense, when you think about it. All those roads and gas refineries and production factories. No wonder the world is so slow to change, but I wish it could be different. We're really not living to our potential at all. This civilisation is shit.

I think sociopaths actually want to actively destroy the world though.
