i think a lot of it is things you can learn about yourself. things you fear, genuine acceptance of self that in the most rare circumstances even leads to love, seething hatred of self that all too often leads to destruction, etc...

i dunno...to me, sexuality is ingrained so deep and affects everything else, but then again, that could just be excuses for lustful, hedonistic tendencies....who knows.
