Wow Menty, eerily similar. I had to move far away too. I knew if I continued playing that game that I would die or end up some toothless old hag giving blowjobs for a bump.. as I've witnessed other sink down into that, death would be preferable. That shit only allows you to ride high for so long before you lose everything. I'm lucky I've still got a few braincells left.
The wild life was exhilarating and dangerous, everything else seems pale in comparison. I have, for the most part, come to grips with the fact that I can't live that way. But the nostalgia for what seemed to be so much fun hits now and then. I just have to ride it out, because I can also remember how bad the bad times really were.
And Fuddlemiff, no one can talk someone else into quitting when they're using drugs for whatever reason they use them for. Sometimes a person just has to learn the hard way.
