What's the nastiest food you've ever eaten?

If you don't know, now ya know
I don't mean spoiled, rotten stale food. What's the nastiest fully-cooked and properly prepared thing you've ever eaten?

For me, i't's escargot, hands down. Tasted like dirt-covered snot. I was so looking forward to trying it, and I gagged down two of them before I threw in the towel.

Yuck.
 
Anchovies. In anything. Fucking hate them. I also once ate a Thai dish that was largely based on some sort of peanut sauce. It was fucking disgusting.
 
^^Anchovies I agree with. My Grandpop used to eat anchovies from a jar and sardines from a tin. BLECH! I like some Thai foods, but I do find that their overreliance on peanut can be overwhelming.

WTF is wrong with you people? Head cheese, anchovies, and escargot are all delicious and not nasty at all.
 
^I love you - now I have someone to pass the head cheese to and not have to feel guilty about all the starving children in Africa any more.

I really can't think of any nasty ass food i've had recently...but then i've never tried escargot. Sounds GROSS the way u described it!;)

I did however buy this carbonated beverage (12 pack cans) that was raspberry flavored? It tasted like GNARLY VOMIT!!...i gave the rest to my dad & he thought it tasted like vile PUKE as well!!:pissed:

I have had better luck with food. :)
