What's up with the trail of women this season?

What's up with the women being ganged up on this season? Harry will probably go tomorrow, which will make 7 women evicted and only 1 man (Aaron was tossed).

I brought it up somewhere else and people shot back that it wasn't the public's fault, but maybe because of the NOMINATIONS, or because MAYBE IT'S NOT A THING BECAUSE THESE WOMEN DON'T REPRESENT ALL WOMEN HUH? PUNK?

But really, these women have not been evil enough to merit extermination of a whole gender in the house. It deserves some analysis.

It's the same every year. Female housemates are judged much harsher than male. They can either by "bitches" or "whores" or "nice normal girls" but that's all. Sixteen series and every time the first evictee has been female (Adjoa was the real first evictee this year since Simon wasn't voted by the public and he came back anyway.) Last year was the first time we got two females in the top two (shame one was Helen.) "Jade has talked to more than two men" was an actual non-ironic reason for her nomination. Society is sexist so our reality tv shows are sexist.

People generally hate women who dare to actually have their own agency, especially when it comes to their relationships with men. If they also happen to, like, not be obviously horrible people people also hate them for "sitting on the fence" and not "telling it like it is" like all the actual sociopaths they have on the show do.
