Where's Smackdown?

I'm in Minneapolis. It turns out the UPN affiliate here put it on midnight-2am here not on Fridays, but saturday nights. Fuck that. I'll never watch it again. I couldn't even remember to watch it when they switched it to Fridays and now this? Even TNA has a better time slot.

Same here. The only good thing was that they were showing a good movie (Escape from New York) in its place.

Wrestling has lost its spark. I haven't watched it in months, and I'm not the least bit sad. The fighting is even good anymore;shit I know it's fake, but this shit is ridiculous. Can we get some "real" wrestling here???

Watch TNA. You'll get what you're looking for. ;)

TNA is ok, but to me it feels too much like WCW; like the small time. It doesn't have the grittiness that ECW had and too many of the matches are lucha-styled spotfest without story telling. Another problem is that they're building the company around former WWE midcarders and WCW has beens. If they could only make enough noise to force Vince to publicly acknowlege them as an entity on tv it could spark a rivalry that would make the ratings climb for both companies.

Oh, hell, they aren't real either.
I veiw it as a live action cartoon. Next time you switch it on, imagine (or popin a CD of...) cartoon sound effects.

And, I admire the skill and execution that they HAVE to have to do what they do.
The winning and loosing are irrelevent.

They're more 'real' as it pertains to wrestling than WWE though. You gotta give them that.
