All That Glitters

It was a half hour daily show about an alternate reality, where women's and men's roles were reversed. Women were captains of industry, and men were househusbands, etc.

Man, I loved that show.

If it ran against something I was heavily into, that would explain it.

If I remember correctly, it was syndicated along with "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", yes? Seems like I remember seeing them together on an independent station when I was a kid, along with Benny Hill and a few others.
