I haven't downloaded the 64 emulator, and the rom images (ISOs?) are probably enourmous. For the time being we're trying to see how many people would get into it. We have a healthy number so far, but that might be because the current setup is so simple.
Any SNES 2-player game you can think of can be played, though.
You might wanna try it sometime though. You might like beating someone up
It can probably be done. We haven't invested time in it just yet for the above-stated reasons, but who knows what can happen if the thing starts growing?
There are a couple there which could be played with others here. Still, if we ask people to download large roms while this is in its infancy it will fizzle out.
Let me offer SF from a different perspective: You play forum arcades? I guarantee you that anything we play on SNES, including Street Fighter, is more advanced, and there are two people. Doesn't have to be a beat 'em-up, but the old games are like a stepping-stone to those who like this stuff.
Try SF for 5 with me, dude. Everyone who has hasn't regretted it.
I can monday, Im going to nuke my computer this weekend, A virus fucked up XP and I lag super bad on my windows now. I click a window and wait a full minute and the task bar is fucked.(ultra slow) .
When I ever get the extra cash for more memory I'm gonna get me some N64 games for the cpu. Goldeneye is my all time favorite multi-player game if only for sentimental reasons.
