Who's Smarter, Fantagraphics, or Harlan Ellison?

You comic people are truly fucking ill. I'm sorry I was ever interested in comics.
 
Originally commissioned for Fantagraphics' 1997 edition of The Book on The Edge of Forever (Christopher Priest's monograph on the continued non-publication of the Ellison-edited The Last Dangerous Visions), this utterly unique piece of original art is being donated by illustrator Drew Friedman to the Fantagraphics Defense Fund (created to help fight a lawsuit filed against Fantagraphics by Ellison on an unrelated subject). Pen and ink on Bristol Board, 5.5" x 8.5". Friedman will autograph the piece to the winning bidder, who will also receive a copy of the book (The Book on the Edge of Forever, that is, not The Last Dangerous Visions, which a decade later has still not been released) itself.
 
The book is pretty late, like still not out after 10 years, but the cover's available :D Is this a ratty fucking deal or what?
