Why do duals?

Talk in third person?
Well I know.
But come on-isn't it kind of obvious?
Any one that isn't a dual-doesn't do this.
You don't hear me saying, "Love child likes candy"
I would say, "I like Candy"
Because I am love child.
Just tryin to help ya out duals!
