Why do we always focus on the negative aspects of lynching???

There. I said it. Lynching gets a bad rap. You say "lynching," and everyone thinks of crude backward redneck hicks, dragging some innocent negro out of their bed and hanging them from a tree. But what about pedophiles? There was a pedophile *teacher* on the news tonight. He's being released under something called "shock probation." They had footage from the hearing. The judge was like "he's going to be released pretty soon anyway and there's nothing I can do about that. And when that happens, there are no conditions or controls we can enforce..." So she decided letting him out now, into a program was the lesser of the two evils. But I wouldn't be particularly upset if he just *disappeared* the day he was released and was never seen again and no one knew what happened to him. Lynching handles things where the law's hands are tied.

Lynching handles things where the law's hands are tied.
Or where the law's hands actively help the guilty at the expense of society, which has been happening with increasing frequency lately.
