...devolved into nothing so much as a series of personal attacks, spam, and "look how great I am, bitches!" threads?

I remember when Speak Freely stood for something. I don't remember what, exactly, but gadzooks it stood for somethin'!

What happened?
 
I've noticed Lucy seems to be getting away with an awful lot of spamlike behavior, but it ain't my call to make. Personally, I just comment on the posts that are put forth, but when you get a whole generations of noobs trying to out-troll the trolls and impress the fucking world with their imagined cleverness, this is what you end up with. Amateur Mike Nite at the Speak Freely Forum...
 
You make some good points. Honestly, I skip right over this forum these days, unless I see a thread or post by Darthsikle, Laker_Girl, or Mentalist. Everything else is pretty much crap.

That's what I thought at first, but then I hit the quote button, and my name was still there. Not the [ you ] tag. It usually doesn't carry over when you quote.

Never happen. That would be giving into the terrorists if we took measures to protect the board!!! It is far better to GET TO HIM BY ALLOWING HIM TO DEFACE IT!

Quite the accusation there dear little Irish freak. Put down your Lucky Charms, take the spoon out of your mouth and take a moment to prove this spamming you claim to see happening. I should like to see this very proof. True I post many posts but this is not spamming. Spamming is when you post the same thing over and over again in great numbers. So I type fast. Since when is this a crime? I could complete 10 different posts in the time it takes you to complete one. I should be required to pay for my ability to type quickly? I piss quickly also. Perhaps you should tell all the others this too. Damn but that could have me banned. DONNY boy? If you are so eager to have me 'banned' (especially from a site that from Day One told me no one has ever been banned which left me in hysterics of laughter), simply complain to the admins about me. We all know they abhor me so there is no doubt a ban would place a huge smile upon their faces. Go ahead. I know! Start a petition with everyone required to sign for my ban! That should take you all of 20 minutes (with your typing speed perhaps 2 hours). I understand your abhorrence for me but I expect such feelings from those Irish leprechauns who continually run out of their favourite cereal, Lucky Charms. Just grab a fucking clover, rub it onto your green dick and hope for the best.
