once again, you prove you don't have the faintest idea what you are talking about: i DID come here for rational discussion, YOU FErs are the ones who insulted ME till i said "i quit", then you have the gall to claim that you WON the argument by driving me away?!

i once searched the internet for half an hour for interesting pictures, then posted one: in less than a minute, some FEr said it was fake...without doing ONE SECOND of research! and you have the gall to say I never did any research?

you insult me again and again, and when i finally lose my temper and insult you BACK, you accuse ME of being a "troll"?

i calmly, rationally politely point out the HUGE holes in your fantasy story (it doesn't even deserve to be called a "theory") and instead of trying to FIX those holes, YOU call ME an "idiot" for saying what everyone else believes?

and now one of you says he really believes the SOLE purposes of the internet are: flinging insults you would never dare say face to face, and PORN! HE is the one who comes here ONLY to throw insuts around here! if ANY of the mods here had ANY SANITY OR HONESTY they would ban HIM...but no, this entire website is run by lunatics for lunatics to insult everyone else.

truly, the only reason i keep coming back is a MORBID curiosity about just how LOW you can SINK with your cheap insults.

It gets invaded everyday, usually by a bunch of retards. Read the FAQ before you decided to try trolling them.. you'll still lose.
 
The FES or the invaders? You should really do some lurking before you answer that. It's set up to get everyone sputtering mad, and then we sit back and laugh.
 
Based on the thread you linked to, I daresay it's both: The invaders that try too hard to 'convince' these feebs they're dead wrong in their beliefs and thus get counter-trolled and the natives themselves who legitimately believe this.

Hmmm, I'd have to observe this board some more, but I have an idea on how to stage the invasion. I don't want to lead an invasion that's been done and failed :D
 
There are no natives who believe the earth is flat, just people who are extremely convincing. It'll be hard to come up with something that hasn't been done a thousand times.

The idiot who has enough time and narcissism to maintain and pay for that sad excuse of a website deserves more than a thousand celebrations of his/her stupidity.

I would understand "FES" going for three months and then going "gotcha motherfuckers", but this is too much.

The sadder thing is that Wikipedia lists it as a real website, and THE main reference to the flat earth theory.
 
It is a real website, lol.. and your irritation that it exists is it's sole reason for existing. It's no different from any other message board, just has a hook that gets lots of angry little dweebs joining every day to tell us how stupid we are.

Au contraire. The site doesn't irritate me per se. I appreciate the fact that it's very well done, tricking wikipedia into listing it as a real reference rather than a parody site, and tricking random dumbasses into pointing out the obvious. However, the sheer amount of time that the so-called FES theory defenders spend on maintaining their joke is obnoxious.

Ultimately, the joke is on them. :)

I think there may be ONE true believer, his name is Raa, if that tells you anything. He's one of those true conspiracy nuts, probably believes the lizards are among us too.

The owner of the site doesn't spend any time defending FET, he shows up once every few months to tell us that he hasn't forgotten about the site and blah blah blah.. everything is fine. The people who spend time defending FET (flat earth theory) do it for the lulz much like any troll. It only takes a few obnoxious posts to get some of these people foaming at the mouth. Last year one of them claims to have hired a private detective to follow one of the members.

It's a lot of fun tormenting the people who come there.. they just know the earth is round, but they don't have a clue as to why it's round. At the very least this site might inspire a few people to actually learn something.
