Why would anyone, under any circumstances, watch Stargate?

Also I think Galaxy Quest was underrated, I can totally relate to "Guy." I think I am the red-shirted ensign of TK.

Well, it's still a good show. But you're right, it's not the same without O'Neill in there somewhere. Shit, they could'a just not replaced him as General.

I think Mitchell (ben Browder) was a good choice to kinda replace him on the team. He has the same sort of sarcastic wit that O'Neil had.

I tried with StarGate. It had it's good moments and it is a good show, but I never got past sason four, it wa too much effort. I will never get through them all now, that's for sure.

SG is dead to me. An honorable death but gone all the same.

Yeah. And I guess after eight years, it was kinda inevitable that somebody would wanna bail. Plus, ya know, the character was retired even before the damn movie. can't see a 10 year long reactivation being too comfortable. (If, that is, you consider the movie O'Neil and the SG1 O'Neill to be the same guy. Which, how could you not, but some people don't. 'Cause some people are whackaloons.)
