In the UK, I have visited Hooters once, and a lap dancing bar once as well.
Both of them were "odd" experiences rather than sexual. I became peculiarly interested in how their system worked, the way they got men to give tips or part with their cash.
I found that the systems were very mechanical. If I touch my breast, I can get this. If I brush past, turn and get eye contact then say sorry I get that. I just found the buttons being pushed were a little obvious.
and they were all orange, and students studying "Applied Economics" or "Chemistry"
I remember the lap dancing girl who was studying Applied Economics, and I asked her if Macro economics was merely the sum of many parts of Micro economics, and if most economists were just good guessers.
She decided she had to go and talk to someone else after that.
I did spend a lot of time in the bar alone that evening, while Clients were being entertained. I didn't mind in the slightest.
The other funny thing about the night in the lap dancing bar was that the clients I was with worked for a major soft drinks company. By some bizarre fluke, there was a massive display of one of their brands behind the bar. They all laughed and said they were very impressed I had arranged a display in such a seedy joint. Of course, I hadn't.
The truth was that when men arrive at such a place, they are invariably arseholed. "Better sober up quick" was obviously a market this place had realised was there for the taking.
