Oklahoma, Texas women's hoop clinch share of Big 12 title
No. 12 Texas defeated Kansas State 80-52 later in the day and tied Oklahoma for first place. Texas beat Oklahoma by 20 and 22 points in the regular season and will be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Oklahoma will be No. 2.
 
Tennessee Tech women wins OVC, earns first NCAA berth since 2000
The third-seeded Golden Eagles, who lost to the Trojans twice during the season, held the Trojans to 34% shooting, including 0 for 6 from 3-point range, and had a 37-26 rebounding advantage.
 
Iowa wins Big 10 tourney behind Caitlin Clark's 10th career triple double
Clark had 30 points, 17 assists and 10 rebounds. She is second in NCAA women's history in triple-doubles.

Iowa's 105 points and the 33-point margin of victory are championship game records for the Big Ten tournament. Both of those marks were previously set in 2021, when the Maryland Terrapins beat Iowa 104-84 in Clark's freshman season. The Hawkeyes still went on to the Sweet 16 that year.
 
No. 1 South Carolina wins 7th SEC tourney I past 9 seasons
After an undefeated SEC regular season -- the third time South Carolina has done that under Staley -- the Gamecocks won their three SEC tournament games by 27, 29 and 16 points.

South Carolina will be the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament and will host the early-round games.
 
'Anything possible' Washington St. wins 1st Pac-12 tourney title
The championship marked the first Pac-12 title for any Washington State women's sports team, and, according to the Pac-12 Network, the first Pac-12 tournament crown for any Washington State team in 21 years.
 
Virginia Tech's Kenny Brooks first Black women's coach to win ACC tournament
With the win, Virginia Tech is projected to move up to the 1-line in the NCAA tournament bracket, according to ESPN bracketologist Charlie Creme.

Brooks, who was hired in Blacksburg ahead of the 2016-17 season following a successful career at James Madison, has made Virginia Tech a national contender after years of irrelevance.
 
James Madison women claims Sun Belt title, NCAA Tourney bid
It was James Madison's first title-game appearance since the 2016-17 team fell to Elon in the Colonial Athletic Association championship. The Dukes (26-7) will play in their first NCAA women's tournament since 2016.
 
Portland tops No. 16 Gonzaga to win WCC tourney, clinch NCAA berth
Portland (23-8) snapped a six-game losing streak against the No. 16 Zags -- with its last win coming in the tournament semifinals during the 2019-20 season. The Pilots won the tournament championship that year before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Portland played in four straight NCAA tournaments from 1994 to 1997 before getting back in 2020.
 
SE Louisiana wins Southland title, earns first NCAA berth
Hailey Giaratano, the tournament MVP, added 15 points for the top-seeded Lions (21-9), who have won 10 of 11 to reach 20 wins for the first time in almost 20 years. Chrissy Brown added 10 and 5-foot-5 freshman point guard Jalencia Pierre had 11 rebounds to go with eight points.
 
Ketsia Athias triple double lifts Iona to MAAC title, 2nd NCAA berth
Iona (26-6), the top seed in the conference tournament for the first time, continued to dominate MAAC competition, winning three tournament games after going 18-2 in the regular season. The Gaels made their only other NCAA tournament appearance in 2016.

It had been that kind of season for the Tigers (23-5), who earned a second straight trip to the NCAA tournament. Princeton knocked off sixth-seeded Kentucky in the first round and lost by a point to Indiana in the round of 32 last year.
 
Iowa State wins Big-12 women's tournament for Its time since 2001
It's the third Big 12 tournament title for the dean of women's and men's basketball coaches in the league, Bill Fennelly, who has been at Iowa State since 1995.
