Word of Advice...

[Friday]

When taking your laptop thru security at the airport, ALWAYS open it before leaving the security checkpoint, to check for damage.

I did not do this, and didn't realize til I got home that they out and out lifted one of the keys right off the keyboard. They even lost the little plastic thingy that attaches the key to the board. I called AppleCare, and it's not covered, because it's considered "accidental".

So, learn from my mistake, young grasshoppers...

Always check your laptop before leaving security.

Well, sorry to hear that, but I'm left wondering why the fuck they were prying keys off your keyboard. Did they think you had a very SMALL terrorist hidden under there?

Yeah, that sucks... without stopping right then and showing them I bet you've lost any chance to have the airport pay for it. Ho hum...

If it's any consolation, keyboards are cheaply found on eBay and they are super easy to replace.
