Meh.

It's been longer than 24 hours already. And frankly, he answered the question over 2 hours ago and my account still isn't active. So it's not like it's not known about.

Second time I've registered. The first account was a few months back under the Sarek name. Never activated and eventually it must have been deleted. I was only interested in making one post directed at Paladim. With all the moderation, I don't think I would have lasted long afterward anyway. :P

It's not so bad so long as you keep it in the appropriate forum.

And if you have something specific in mind I could always relay it. If the registration thing doesn't work out.
 
Well, considering that it appears that your intent in posting my original post was to invite ridicule, I'm not sure I can trust you to post it without a few neat little additions or subtractions. :P

I'll give it a bit more time to see what happens. I seem to remember someone long ago saying I wouldn't be able to register at WordForge anyway.

Not at all. I noticed it and thought it merited more attention.
 
I just hadn't been in there yet. I don't know why Nick didn't do it when he answered the question, but whatever.

You are activated now. Just be careful what you do outside the Red and Gray Rooms and you'll be fine. Oh, that includes rep but the way..only troll with rep in Red and Gray as well.

If you never used your last account it probably got pruned. We toss zero post count accounts every so often.

Well, so far all I've found out is that some at WordForge don't actually read posts. They home in on a few key words or phrases, deny facts, and ignore links. Then it's off to left field and some inane leap to a conclusion.
 
Tamar,

I assume Sarek won't be hit with the 'no prior contribution' rule? I would consider the clarification and defense of his stance(s) to be contributory towards a good old discussion.

So far, I think he brings a very interesting counterweight.

Fun Fact: Paladin was awarded the title of Best Debater during the Forgie awards (2006).
