Yeah thanks. I didn't want to deal with all Pickle's real/fake drama and also I realized i enjoyed the board more in Pickle's absence. Its good that I left anyway, with RL issues such as being unemployed, broke, and moving back to live with mom and dad I wouldn't want to deal with Pickle at this time anyway. I'm still deciding whether to reduce to or take a break from messageboards to focus more on my job search and other neglected areas of my life. I was informed that the various board owners/admins that I'm friendly with would be more than happy to help me temporarily self-ban myself. We'll see....

That's horrible news, Loktar. Last I heard from you, you were still working but convinced you were losing your job. Shitty to find out it actually happened. It can't be overjoying to go live back with the folks, but at least be glad you have somewhere to go. You're a smart, imaginative guy, Loktar. I know you'll get another job soon; way better than the one you had before. Consider going back to school. It'll open a lot of doors for you.

I lurk Haven. Its practically a dead board. And all is not lost. I have a few local jobs i'm currently looking into and a job fair too later this week. I know people who are older than me have gone back to school but at 36 I fear going back to school for another year or two at least and accumulating even more debt/student loans.

Community college is cheap. You can get grants that will cover the cost of classes, labs, and maybe even book costs. There are plenty of people in school your age or older. People your age are the norm at night classes.
